Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any services with Molly's Happy Tails. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.


1. BOOKINGS & CONSULTATIONS

1.1. A free, in-person 'Meet & Greet' consultation is strictly required prior to any new booking being confirmed. This ensures the safety and comfort of the pet and the carer. 

1.2. All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once [a deposit is paid / written confirmation is provided].


2. CANCELLATIONS & FEES

2.1. Dog Walking & Drop-ins: Cancellations must be made at least [Insert number] hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations made after this time will be charged at [Insert % or full rate]

2.2. Pet Sitting & Overnight Stays: Cancellations require [Insert number] days' notice. If notice is given later than this, the [Insert %] deposit is non-refundable. 

2.3. Molly's Happy Tails reserves the right to cancel services in the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., heatwaves or severe storms) that pose a danger to the pets or the carer. In such events, alternative arrangements (such as a short toilet break rather than a long walk) will be discussed.


3. EMERGENCIES & VETERINARY CARE

3.1. Molly is fully Pet First Aid trained. In the event of an emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. 

3.2. If we cannot reach you, we reserve the right to seek emergency veterinary care. By agreeing to these terms, you authorise Molly's Happy Tails to take your pet to your registered vet (or the nearest emergency vet) and agree that you are solely responsible for all veterinary fees incurred.


4. BEHAVIOUR & LIABILITY

4.1. The client must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or behavioural issues during the Meet & Greet. 

4.2. Molly's Happy Tails is fully insured through Pet Plan. However, we will not be held liable for any damage or injury caused by your pet if vital behavioural history was withheld prior to the booking.


5. HOME SECURITY & KEYS

5.1. Any keys provided will be kept securely and without any address labels attached. 

5.2. If we are required to retain your keys between bookings, they will be kept in a secure lockbox. Keys will be returned upon request at the end of a service period.


6. PAYMENT

6.1. Payment for services must be made via [Bank Transfer / Cash / Rover Platform] by the [Insert due date, e.g., the last day of the week or prior to the service starting]

6.2. Late payments may incur a fee of [Insert fee amount if applicable].
